Brownfields This wetland site had been used as a car crushing facility/junk yard.  Currently under remediation, the hazardous soil has been removed and re-development of this area as a public park is underway.  The orange sheet in this picture will alert any future builders that this site was once contaminated.   Our catch basin inserts have been specified in by the project engineers to capture any remaining heavy metals, hydrocarbons, nitrogen compounds, bacteria, sediment and debris.
